Come along to our photo sessions to dust off your camera and get snap-happy with a professional photography instructor.

Brush up on your camera skills and learn new photography techniques whilst on a photo walk class with other local keen photographers!

We run two hour photography sessions based on a photography theme/technique/style and they take place in various locations in Milton Keynes .

  • New to photography? We also run a popular 3 hour Beginners Guide to Photography Class once a month. And once in a while we will run special niche 3 hour classes, for example, Astrophotography - so do subscribe to our newsletter to know when the next on is!

  • Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to keen amateurs. The photography instructor is there to help you with camera settings and provide any advice you need.

  • What to bring? We recommend bringing a camera that has full manual mode or semi-manual modes (Aperture or Shutter Priority). Compact cameras and smartphones also welcome!

    The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

    Lore is a freelance photographer based in Northampton, covering many genres of photography, from portraiture and events to commercial and nature over the years. She is the owner of a family photo studio in Northampton where she is concentrating her activity on newborn, maternity, family and children photography.
    When it comes to tutoring, Lore's style is more natural and tries through fun and creative lessons to teach other than technical knowledge, that photography is about capturing the feeling of the moment.

    Waxwings over winter in the uk from Scandinavia. They have been Hertfordshire for many years. This year brings an abundance of them. Apparently this happens approx. every 7 years. they love to eat Rowan berries but as there are so many this year I believe they will eat most berries. I have never seen one in the flesh so you can imagine my delight.

    this photo is a combination of Photoshop techniques and layers. The orginial photo was of the anemone which I masked up to get rid of the background, I then used the Oil paint filter to get the effect I was looking for For stage 2 I identified a background which I manipulated this with the blur feature in Photoshop, I duplicated the layer copy for applying over the anemone at a later stage.     As a deep space photographer, I like to take photos of outer space targets that our eyes cannot see. These photos require a lot of patience and a lot of clear nights reason why my telescopes are working almost every night when it isn't cloudy. Astrophotography is very different from all the other types of photography, a single photo sometimes requires tens of hours under the clear night sky but the result is very satisfying.In this photo, I would like to present to you the California Nebula

    This is part of a huge street art display, a real gem in Leeds. I loved the different displays of hands walking, creates a real sense of movement and intrigue. Photo was taken around 11am.
